Summary

The app stores your counts and settings on your device. It does not require an account, and core features work fully offline. Some optional features may collect or transmit data — those are described below, and any that involve permissions or external services will ask for your consent or require you to enable them.

Data stored on your device

All counts, history, and settings are stored locally on your device using the operating system's standard storage. This data never leaves your device unless you explicitly choose to export it, share it, or enable a feature that syncs it elsewhere.

Data you export or share

When you export or share data from the app, you choose the destination (email, file storage, messaging apps, cloud services, and so on). Once exported, the data is subject to the privacy policy of the service you sent it to. We do not receive a copy.

Optional cloud features

The app may offer optional features that store your data on servers we operate or on third-party services we use for this purpose (for example, to sync counts across your devices, back up your data, or share it with other users you choose). These features are off by default. If you turn them on, the data involved is transmitted over an encrypted connection and stored in association with the account or identifier you provide. You can disable these features and request deletion of the associated data at any time by contacting us.

Permissions

The app only requests system permissions when needed for a specific feature, and the operating system will ask for your approval at that point. Examples of permissions the app may request as features evolve:

• Camera — for features like scanning codes or capturing reference images, if added.
• Microphone — for voice input or voice commands, if added.
• Photos / Files — for importing or exporting data and backups.
• Notifications — for reminders or alerts related to your counts, if added.

You can grant or revoke any of these permissions at any time in your device settings. The app will continue to work without them, except for the specific feature that uses them.

Analytics and diagnostics

We may collect anonymous, aggregated information about how the app is used (such as which screens are visited, which features are used, and crash reports) to improve reliability and prioritize improvements. Where this is collected, it does not include the contents of your counts or any information that personally identifies you. If your device or our app offers a way to opt out of analytics or diagnostic sharing, that choice is respected.

Purchases and subscriptions

If the app offers in-app purchases or subscriptions, those transactions are processed by Apple (App Store) or Google (Google Play). We receive only the information needed to provide and manage access to the purchased features. We do not see or store your payment details.

Third-party services

If the app uses third-party services for functionality such as cloud storage, analytics, crash reporting, or payment processing, those services may receive data necessary to perform their function, governed by their own privacy policies. We choose providers that take privacy seriously and limit data sharing to what is needed.

Children

The app is rated 4+ and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.

Your rights

You can stop the app from collecting any additional data by deleting it from your device. For any data that is stored on our servers (if you have enabled cloud features), you can request a copy of it or its deletion by contacting us at the address below.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the app evolves. The updated version will be posted at this URL, with the effective date above updated to reflect the change. Material changes will be communicated through the app where appropriate.
